Introduction to Math Spies at the British Museum

We have received reports that Smudge is lurking among the artifacts at the British Museum. Rumor has it that he is alone and unguarded and this is our best chance to capture this petty crook.   He has valuable information to help us round up the rest of this band of criminals.
Your mission is to tour the British Museum as though you are a student on a school trip.  Follow the directions to each of the artifacts in the museum and answer the questions correctly.  When you are ready to enter the museum, click here.

The British Museum Question 1

This statue was sculpted in Roman times.  From the time of the first Caesar in 44 BC to the collapse of its western government in 476 AD, how long did the Empire last?

The British Museum Question 2

This is a piece of the Parthenon that was completed in 438 BC.  About how old is this sculpture today in 2012?

The British Museum Question 3

These statues are from Ancient Egyptian times.  The first Pharaoh united Upper and Lower Egypt in about 3150 BC.  About how long ago did this happen?

The British Museum Question 4

Question 4
This is the Rosetta Stone used to translate hieroglyphics.  The date of the decree on it is 196 BC.  It was rediscovered in 1799 by a French soldier.  About how old was the Rosetta Stone at that point?
